The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) hosted a crucial meeting last week at its headquarters in New Delhi to finalize the nomenclature, main theme, and sub-themes for the 72nd All India Cooperative Week, scheduled to be celebrated nationwide from 14–20 November 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Chief Executive, NCUI, who emphasized the vision, objectives, and significance of the Cooperative Week celebrations in promoting the cooperative movement across the country.
He noted that the event serves as an important platform to showcase achievements, address challenges, and chart a roadmap for the sector’s growth.
The high-level gathering saw active participation from the Managing Directors of NCHF, NLCF, and NAFFAC, along with senior officials representing leading cooperative organizations such as IFFCO, KRIBHCO, NCDC, NCOL, NCEL, BBSSL, NAFED, NFCSF, NAFCUB, NCCF, and NCCT.
Following detailed deliberations and the exchange of valuable suggestions, the participants finalized one main theme along with six focused sub-themes for the 2025 celebrations.
The meeting was efficiently coordinated by Ved Prakash Setia, Executive Director, NCUI, while Anant Dubey, Deputy Director, NCUI, concluded the proceedings with a vote of thanks to all attendees.
