NCUI initiative to train in Co-op Law and Practices

The Certificate Course in Cooperative Law and Practices, jointly organized by the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), was held from 30th June to 11th July 2025 at NCUI, New Delhi. The course witnessed the participation of 24 individuals from five states, reflecting a diverse representation of the cooperative sector.

As part of the programme, NCUI President Dileep Sanghani interacted with the participants on 10th July, sharing valuable insights on the evolving landscape of the cooperative movement. Ved Prakash Setia, Executive Director, NCUI, conducted an informative session on the New Cooperative Policy and recent government initiatives to bolster the sector.

The final assessment, conducted by GGSIPU on 11th July, consisted of a 60-minute objective test. All participants successfully cleared the examination and were awarded certificates jointly by NCUI and GGSIPU.

The valedictory session featured Prof. Queeny Pradhan, Dean, Law College, GGSIPU; Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Professor, GGSIPU; and Smt. Savitri Singh, Deputy Chief Executive, NCUI. Participants shared positive feedback, highlighting the course’s practical relevance and academic value.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates, marking the successful completion of a programme aimed at enhancing the legal and institutional understanding of cooperative professionals.
