The Coop Connect Division of NCUI successfully conducted a webinar on the topic “Successful Cooperative Business Model” on 17th June 2025, which saw participation from over 65 students, faculty members and Vice Principal of Pragjyotish College, Guwahati, Assam.
The session was led by Rajeev Sharma and Ritesh Dey, Executive Directors, along with Anant Dubey, Deputy Director. Together, they provided an insightful overview of the values and principles of cooperatives, shared notable examples of successful cooperative societies across India, and highlighted key initiatives by the Ministry of Cooperation and NCUI to strengthen and promote the cooperative ecosystem and the important role of Cooperatives in making Viksit Bharat @2047.
The webinar was enriched by the presence of Dr. Nandini Sarma (Vice-Principal), Dr. Bidyut Bikash Baishya (Assistant Professor), and Dr. Ira Das from Pragjyotish College, along with faculty members from Pandu College, Assam.
They contributed valuable grassroots perspectives and thanked NCUI for conducting such an informative webinar that inspired the students and faculty members.
