The apex body of co-ops- NCUI conducted a one-Day Awareness Program on Cooperatives for Commerce & Management students of Haryana based GD Goenka University at its campus last week.
The program was attended by a total of 130 Indian & foreign students. In class sessions, Rajeev Sharma, Director (Projects & Coop Connect), NCUI, elaborated on the cooperative business model & key initiatives of NCUI.
Whereas, In an interactive Q&A session with the participants, NCUI officials – Rajeev Sharma & Dipti Yadav (Asst. Director, NCCE) along with GD Goenka’s faculty Ashu, answered the queries of the participants.
The University’s faculty discussed the possibility of exploring the opportunity as to how GD Goenka University can collaborate with NCUI for a large-scale youth participation in cooperatives.
The participants thanked NCUI for organizing such effective awareness sessions on career prospects in the cooperative sector & even expressed their enthusiasm in attending more such sessions on cooperatives in the future.
