The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) organized a warm farewell function to honour Mrs. Veena Sachdeva, Director, on her retirement after over 32 years of dedicated and exemplary service to the organization.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials, staff members, and family, marking the occasion with heartfelt tributes and gratitude. Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, IAS (Retd.), Chief Executive, NCUI, presented a bouquet, memento, and service certificate to Mrs. Sachdeva as a token of appreciation for her long-standing contribution. Mrs. Savitri Singh, Deputy Chief Executive, also felicitated her with a bouquet and shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashish Dwivedi, Executive Director (Personnel Division), highlighted Mrs. Sachdeva’s professionalism, sincerity, and cooperative spirit throughout her tenure. He also acknowledged her leadership in the Project Division and the NCUI Haat Division, as well as her role as the organization’s Cooperative Information Officer.
Colleagues shared fond memories and lauded her outstanding contribution to the cooperative movement and the NCUI’s growth. The event, coordinated by Anant Dubey, Deputy Director (Personnel Division), concluded with warm wishes for Mrs. Sachdeva’s happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement.
