The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), in collaboration with African-Asian Rural Development Organization, successfully concluded a four-day international online training programme on “Cooperative Enterprise Models for MSME Growth & Market Access,” drawing over 175 participants from member countries.

The programme opened with remarks from Siddharth Jain, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation and Administrator, NCUI, who highlighted the government’s push for cooperative-led MSME development and stressed digital adoption for global competitiveness. NCUI officials underscored the role of cooperative education in aligning with national priorities.

Key sessions focused on digital transformation, market access strategies, innovation, and sustainability.

Experts discussed integrating MSMEs with ONDC, securing APEDA certifications, leveraging blockchain for supply chain transparency, and adopting eco-friendly practices aligned with ESG norms.

Speakers from the Ministry of Cooperation and EAC-PM emphasized that collective strength and technology adoption are critical for scaling cooperatives globally.

The initiative reinforces NCUI’s commitment to fostering global knowledge exchange and building resilient, future-ready cooperative enterprises.
