Reacting to the newly launched National Cooperative Policy 2025, Mahesh Nagari Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society Managing Director Magaraj M. Rathi said, “The announcement of the National Cooperative Policy 2025 is a welcome step towards revitalizing India’s cooperative sector.

“Cooperatives have always held a unique position in shaping the country’s rural and urban economy, and this policy aims to build on that legacy by encouraging transparency, expansion, and better governance”, he added.

Rathi further added, “In recent years, several measures have been introduced to strengthen Multi-State Co-operative Credit Societies, and this policy will further support their sustainable growth. We are hopeful that long-pending issues faced by Multi-State Credit Societies will now receive timely attention, enabling them to function more efficiently and explore new operational areas”.

“This will ultimately contribute to the broader goal of strengthening the cooperative movement across India”, he concluded.
