In a significant step towards strengthening the organic farming ecosystem, the National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited (HAFED).

The MoU was signed in the presence of Vijayendra Kumar, IAS, Chairperson of the Board of Administrators, HAFED.

The collaboration seeks to ensure the availability and distribution of certified, high-quality organic products to consumers across Haryana and beyond. By pooling resources and expertise, NCOL and HAFED aim to boost sales of key organic staples, including rice, wheat flour, pulses, spices, and other daily essentials.

Officials said the move is aligned with both state and central government initiatives that focus on promoting organic farming, strengthening supply chains, and enhancing farmer incomes.
