NCEL achieves major milestones in its first year
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The National Cooperative Export Limited (NCEL) has marked a remarkable first year since its establishment in 2023, achieving significant milestones that highlight its growing influence in India’s cooperative export sector.

Within a year, NCEL has successfully enrolled over 10,000 cooperative societies as members, expanding its network across the country. Its primary export portfolio includes Basmati and non-Basmati rice, marine products (particularly shrimp), millets, wheat, fruits and vegetables, animal products, spices, and plantation goods, catering to diverse global markets.

Strengthening its international footprint, NCEL has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 61 importers from Senegal, Indonesia, and Nepal.

These strategic partnerships are not only opening new export avenues for Indian cooperatives but also enhancing India’s rural and agriculture-based economy on the global stage.
