NCUI Governing Council member and National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd (NCDFI) Chairman Mangal Jit Rai has been given an Honorary Doctorate by Dr CV Raman University, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh recently.
The award was presented to him during the university’s annual convocation ceremony, in which Lieutenant General (Retd) Arun Sahani was the Chief Guest.
In his remarks on this occasion Rai said, “I am humbled to receive this prestigious award from Dr CV Raman University. This recognition is not just for me, but for all the farmers and rural communities who have worked with me over the years”.
“I will continue to work towards the betterment of our society and empower the rural communities”, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of Dr CV Raman University, Khandwa, said, “We are honoured to confer the Honorary Doctorate on Shri Mangal Jit Rai in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the cooperative dairy sector and rural development. His dedication and passion for community service have been an inspiration to all of us.”
