The programme focused on strengthening institutional capacity, business development, financial literacy and digital empowerment of cooperative institutions.

More than 100 participants, including over 50 women, attended the programme.

Punjab Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Rani Lakshmibai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi and former Vice-Chancellor, BHU Varanasi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dhananjay Singh, Board Member, NCDC, attended as the Guest of Honour.

The programme was hosted by Sanjay Kumar, Regional Director, NCDC Lucknow, and Nagendra Singh, Deputy Director, NCDC Lucknow.

Through four interactive sessions, participants were trained on institutional governance, business planning, market linkages, financial management, credit facilities, digital platforms such as ERP, e-NAM and ONDC, and various government schemes. The Forest Department also highlighted opportunities related to carbon credits for farmers.
