Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, said that the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) is closely monitoring the implementation of the Cooperative Intern Scheme, under which 238 trainees have been selected so far.
He added that 385 cooperative interns are being recruited to support all Rural Cooperative Banks, including StCBs and DCCBs, with the objective of boosting digital and business skills at the grassroots level.
Each intern will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 25,000, reimbursed from the Cooperative Education Fund (CEF).
Shah further informed that NCDC has also inducted young professionals to enhance its operational efficiency, including 11 CA/CMA/Inter professionals, 30 MBAs, and other domain experts.
