NCDC notifies amendments to Recruitment Rules

The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has notified amendments to its recruitment rules for several senior-level posts, as per a notification published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary).

According to the notification, the amendments were approved by the NCDC Board of Management by exercising powers under Rule 7-A of the National Cooperative Development Corporation Service Regulations, 1967. The changes pertain to eligibility conditions, method of recruitment, tenure, pay structure, and other service-related provisions for various Group ‘A’ posts.

The amended recruitment rules cover posts including Deputy Managing Director (General), Deputy Managing Director (Finance), Financial Advisor, Executive Director (General Management), and Chief Director-level positions in different functional areas such as finance, cooperative development, marketing management, training, sugar, fisheries, dairy, animal husbandry, textiles, storage, cold chain, and processing.

As specified in the notification, appointments to these posts may be made through direct recruitment, deputation, contract, or functional upgradation, as applicable. Pay has been indicated either as per the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix or on a CTC-based, market-linked basis, depending on the post.

The notification states that the amended recruitment rules shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Gazette.
