The Regional Training Center (RTC) of NCDC-LINAC, Raipur, organized a one-day training program aimed at enhancing the skills of officials and staff from Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and cooperative societies in the state, according to a social media post.
The session, focused on capacity development in accounting and bookkeeping, was conducted by the NCDC Regional Office, Raipur. Kailash Kumar Kaushik, Regional Director of NCDC Raipur, presented a brief overview of the FPO scheme to the participants.
He emphasized that FPOs with over 300 members and matching equity should now focus on expanding their businesses to ensure that the benefits reach their members. The training sessions were conducted by Ashish Kumar Sharma, Deputy Registrar and Faculty Member at Chhattisgarh State Administration Academy, Nirmora, and Pratap Bhanu Patel, General Manager (Finance) at Loha Purush Sugar Factory Limited, Pandaria.
The program aimed to strengthen the financial management capabilities of FPO officials to help them achieve sustainable growth.
