National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) presented the Regional Excellence and Merit Award 2023 to cooperative societies doing excellent work in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday.
These awards were given away by the state Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap.
Addressing the event, Kashyap said, “there is immense potential in the state cooperative sector and NCDC in Chhattisgarh has cumulatively disbursed loans of more than Rs 93k crore”, he said.
“NCDC has provided financial benefits to cooperative societies for a wide range of activities like marketing and inputs, sugar, storage, processing and consumer cooperative projects”, he added.
