Replying to a question on co-op development in the state of Chhattisgarh Amit Shah Minister of Cooperation said in the State of Chhattisgarh, NCDC has cumulatively disbursed over Rs. 69953.25 Crore to the cooperative sector for wide range of activities like Marketing & Inputs, Sugar, Storage, Processing and Consumer Cooperatives projects under its schemes. Shah also shared details of amount disbursed and subsidy released under CSISAC scheme.
The govt is presently implementing Central Sector Integrated Scheme on Agriculture Cooperation (CSISAC) which provides financial assistance to NCDC Programme for Development of Cooperatives, Assistance to Cooperative Education and Training and Assistance to Multi State Cooperative Societies, Shah underlined.
For the current financial year, Rs. 373 Crores have been earmarked under this scheme, he said.
