In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah informed that the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), in collaboration with State Cooperative Departments and various Cooperative Federations, is conducting need-based training programs across rural and semi-urban areas of the country.
Since the formation of the Ministry of Cooperation, the NCCT has conducted 13,533 training programmes, benefiting approximately 8,31,849 participants as of 30th June 2025.
In the financial year 2024–25 alone, a total of 4,386 training and capacity-building programmes were organized, training 3,15,382 participants across various sectors, including Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), dairy, fisheries, and other cooperative verticals.
The NCCT, through its Institute of Cooperative Management in Bhopal, also extended its outreach to the Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency, covering the districts of Katni, Panna, and Chhatarpur (including Khajuraho town).
In Katni, seven training programmes were conducted, training 344 participants. In Panna, five programmes were held with 324 participants, and in Chhatarpur, including Khajuraho, two training sessions covered 75 participants.
In addition to these, a specialized training programme was organized in Panna district in collaboration with CSC Ltd, aimed at training PACS Secretaries for onboarding PACS onto the CSC portal and operating Jan Aushadhi Kendras. A total of 39 PACS secretaries from Panna and one from Katni were trained under this initiative.
