Reinforcing the idea that strong seeds lead to stronger farmers and resilient agriculture, the National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India (NCCF), Hyderabad, organised a Black Gram Seed Distribution Programme for farmers in Telangana.

The initiative aimed at empowering farmers by providing them with quality seeds to enhance crop productivity and income. Addressing participants, NCCF officials said access to reliable inputs such as certified seeds is crucial for achieving sustainable agricultural growth and strengthening rural livelihoods.

The programme aligns with the broader vision of Atmanirbhar Krishi, focusing on self-reliance in farming and reducing dependency on external inputs. Farmers welcomed the initiative, noting that timely availability of quality seeds plays a vital role in improving yields and ensuring food security.

Through such farmer-centric interventions, NCCF continues to support cooperative-led agricultural development in the region.
