The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF) witnessed a strong demand from delegates across the country for an increase in Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance (TA/DA), which was passed by the AGM with assistance from Dileep Sanghani and Vishal Singh.
Delegates pointed out that the current Rs 250 daily allowance for three days was inadequate, especially for those attending the AGM in Delhi, and sought a revision.
Responding to their concern, Chairman Vishal Singh invited suggestions on the matter during the session in the presence of IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani and NAFED’s former Chairman Bijendra Singh. Sanghani supported the proposal and recommended that TA/DA should be revised in line with the allowances provided by IFFCO.
The decision was welcomed enthusiastically by the delegates, who said that aligning TA/DA with IFFCO norms would not only ease the financial burden of participation but also encourage wider and more active representation from members across the country.
This move added to the vibrant atmosphere of the AGM, where delegates were actively involved in discussions and their suggestions were given due weightage, reflecting NCCF’s commitment to inclusiveness and cooperative spirit.
