Naveen wants BJD to win co-op elections

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged his party workers and leaders to ensure the Biju Janata Dal wins the elections to cooperatives hands down, reports a news outlet.

Nearly 6,000 primary societies will go to the polls on 26 June. The elections to central and apex societies will be held later.

While discussing the forthcoming cooperative elections with the party officials, Patnaik said the party could utilize its widespread strength to perform better than the last time in the cooperative elections.

He expressed his hope that all leaders and workers would make all possible efforts to win the crucial cooperative elections.
