National Federation of Cooperative Factories (NFCSF) Managing Director Prakash Naiknavare met the Union Minister of State for Cooperation B L Verma on Monday at his New Delhi residence and invited him for the Efficiency Awards distribution ceremony, which is to be organized on 16th November at the NCUI Auditorium, New Delhi.

Soon after the meeting, the news was shared by the Minister through his Twitter wall. “The Managing Director of the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories, #NFCSFL, Shri Prakash Nayaknavare ji met me at my New Delhi residence today. During this, meaningful discussions were held on various aspects related to cooperatives”.

It is reported that the NFCSF is geared up to make the event successful by inviting VIPs including NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and others.

It bears recall that 21 cooperative sugar factories have been selected for awards across categories. The award for the Best Coop Sugar Mills in India has been bagged by Pandurang Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd, Solapur, Maharashtra. Among the 21 winners, Maharashtra figures the top bagging ten Awards while Uttar Pradesh stands second.
