Nagpur Nagarik Sah Bank business crosses Rs 3,000cr

Nagpur (Maharashtra) Nagarik Sahakari Bank crossed the business mix of more than Rs 3,000 crore and achieved a ‘Zero’ net NPA in the 2023-24 FY, beating all its past records.

The bank has performed well on all the financial parameters in the 2023-24 FY. Nagpur Nagarik Sahakari Bank, which is headed by the known cooperator Sanjay Bhende, earned a net profit of Rs 8.40 crore.

All this was revealed during the 62nd annual general meeting of the bank held last week at Nagpur.

The business mix of the bank increased from Rs 2763 crore (2022-23) to Rs 3047 crore as of 31st March 2024. The gross and net NPA of the bank stood at 5.50 percent and ‘Zero’ respectively.

The bank CRAR stood at 14.10 percent.

During the year, in a bid to boost financial inclusion, the bank launched an innovative deposit scheme under the name ‘Balgokulam’ for the students. The scheme covers nursery to 17 years old students who can open their savings account at 100 rupees.
