The Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies Rabindra Kumar Agarwal has extended the term of the liquidators appointed for Ahmednagar-based Nagar Urban Cooperative Bank and Mumbai-based Kapol Cooperative Bank until November 7, 2025.
The liquidation process is overseen by Shardul Jadhav, Director of NCDC’s Pune Regional Office for Kapol Cooperative Bank and by Deputy Director Ganesh Gaikwad for Nagar Urban Cooperative Bank.
The extensions have been granted due to the ongoing recovery proceedings, pending legal matters across various forums, and other statutory obligations that require additional time for completion.
The CRCS said, “The liquidators are advised to submit a quarterly progress report” .
