As part of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, the NCDC Regional Award for Cooperative Excellence and Merit was presented to outstanding cooperative societies of Nagaland during the inaugural ceremony of the Nagaland Cooperative Conclave 2025 at NBCC Convention Hall, Kohima.
The event was graced by Nagaland’s Cooperation Minister Jacob Zhimomi, IAS officials, and senior representatives from the Cooperation Department and NCDC RO Guwahati.
Top awardees included Self Support Women MPCS Ltd, Kohima and Adianu Agri & Allied Cooperative Society Ltd, Mokokchung, among others, recognized across PACS, primary cooperatives, FPOs, and women cooperatives categories. First prizes were awarded for excellence, while second prizes were given on merit.
The three-day conclave (18–20 November 2025) also featured an NCDC promotional stall, inaugurated by Zhimomi and visited by over 150 delegates, highlighting NCDC’s achievements, promotional initiatives, and developmental schemes aimed at strengthening cooperative societies and FPOs across Nagaland.
