NAFSCOB President bats for three tier system

Addressing recently UP cooperative functionaries in Lucknow, National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (NAFSCOB) chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao underscored the importance of the three-tier structure for the Indian cooperative movement, reports a news outlet.

Pointing out the non-success of a two-tier system in the country, he called upon the officials of the state to make PACS stronger as they are pillars of the cooperative structure.

The meeting was held to share the success story of the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCC), which emerged as the number one cooperative bank in the country.

Rao was in Lucknow to attend a meeting of BIRD (Bankers institute of rural development).
