While addressing the AGM, NAFED Managing Director Deepak Agarwal highlighted that the E-Samriddhi Portal, launched by NAFED, has already registered 43 lakh farmers, with 2,20,045 farmers benefiting so far.

“E-Samriddhi is transforming the way farmers access markets, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and better income for our agricultural community,” he said.

The portal, inaugurated by Union Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah on January 4, 2024, during the National Conference on “Self-Reliance in Pulses,” allows farmers to sell their produce directly at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), eliminating middlemen and ensuring fair returns.

During 2024-25, NAFED conducted seed business worth over Rs 62.24 crore, supplying states across India under central and state government schemes. The organization focuses on key seed crops including oilseeds, pulses, cereals, vegetables, fodder, and horticultural crops, underscoring its commitment to comprehensive agricultural development.
