While addressing the 68th Annual General Meeting, NAFED Chairman Jethabhai Ahir informed delegates that NAFED had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lulu Group, Dubai, on Thursday during a function organized as part of World Food India, New Delhi.
The signing ceremony brought together Chairman NAFED and the Chairman of Lulu Group International to formalize the collaboration, marking a significant step toward strengthening India’s agri-food sector and expanding its global reach.
This strategic partnership is expected to boost international trade, create new opportunities for Indian farmers and producers, and enhance India’s presence in the global agricultural market. “This partnership with Lulu Group underscores NAFED’s commitment to making Indian agriculture truly global,” said Chairman Ahir.
The MoU will facilitate smoother export channels for key Indian agri-products, providing farmers with better market access, higher returns, and greater recognition for India’s diverse agricultural offerings, further positioning the country as a major player in the global agri-food industry.
