NAFED distributes gifts in AGM after a long gap

Agriculture Cooperative NAFED has registered a profit in the last financial year and distributed bags as gifts among delegates in the annual general meeting.

“We are not only happy to receive bags as gifts but also happy to hear that our cooperative (NAFED) has come out of the red”, said a team of delegates to this correspondent on the occasion.

Because of diversified business and the procurement work given by the center, NAFED has registered a profit of about Rs 150 crore, informed its Managing Director, Sanjiv Chaddha.

It is reported that dividend will also be disbursed among the members sooner than later.

One of the delegates from Bihar State said “The bags distributed indicate that ‘Cooperative never dies but moves ahead’.
