The Bhubaneswar Branch of NAFED organised a sports event as part of the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025 celebrations, themed “Cooperatives Build a Better World.”
The event featured a range of competitions including 100-metre and 200-metre races, shot put, javelin throw and musical chair. Employees and participants actively took part, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork and healthy competition.
The initiative aimed to promote discipline, unity and mutual cooperation, reflecting the core principles of the cooperative movement. NAFED officials said such activities strengthen bonding among staff while reinforcing the spirit of cooperation that underpins inclusive and sustainable development.
