NAFCUB invites applications for CEO position

National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies Ltd. (NAFCUB) has invited applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a full-time contractual basis for its office in New Delhi.

As per the notification issued by NAFCUB, the ideal candidate should be an Indian citizen with proven professional expertise, rich experience, and the dynamism to lead the apex body representing Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs) and Cooperative Credit Societies across the country.

The preferred age of the applicant is between 55 to 65 years as on 30th June 2025, though relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates. The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree from a recognized university in any stream along with CAIIB certification.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the cooperative banking or cooperative sector is essential, including at least 5 years in a senior management or policy-making role. Preference will be accorded to candidates with a banking background.

NAFCUB stated that remuneration for the position will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and suitability. The final selection of the candidate will rest solely with NAFCUB, whose decision will be binding and final.

Eligible and interested candidates are required to send their detailed CVs along with a passport-size photograph, addressed to the President, NAFCUB, in a sealed envelope super-scribed “Application for the post of Chief Executive Officer.” The application must reach the NAFCUB office in New Delhi by 6:00 PM on or before 30th June 2025, via registered post or courier.
