NAFCUB Director Sunil Omprakash Deora has been honoured with the ‘Marathwada Bhushan Puraskar 2025’ in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the cooperative sector.

The award ceremony took place last week at Sant Eknath Rang Mandir, Osmanabad, in the presence of Maharashtra’s Social Justice Minister and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat, along with other dignitaries.

Known for his visionary leadership, effective communication, and dedicated public service, Deora has earned widespread respect in the cooperative banking community.

Currently serving as Vice Chairman of Omprakash Deora Peoples Co-op. Bank Ltd., Hingoli, and as a board member of the Maharashtra State Urban Co-op Banks Federation, he has played a key role in helping the bank attain FSWM (Financially Sound and Well-Managed) status.

His contributions also extend to his roles as Director of NAFCUB (Delhi), Task Force Member, and Secretary of Gandhi Seva Trust.

Sunil Deora’s recognition is not just a personal milestone but also a matter of pride for the entire cooperative banking community in Hingoli and the broader Marathwada region. The bank’s board of directors and staff have extended their heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved honour.
