FE reports Nabard will soon begin a short-term skill development program for reverse migrants that will help them to get jobs again. The Nabard has sanctioned programs for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
A top Nabard official in Mumbai told Financial Express the program would be widely implemented and most of the funds would come from Nabard.
Nabard has been providing special liquidity facilities to banks including cooperative banks during the pandemic period to ensure credit flow to farmers, farm producers organisation and primary agriculture credit societies (PACs).
