Nabard has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM).
This collaboration seeks to harmonize NABARD’s role of enabler and facilitator in the SHG ecosystem with the transformative goal of NRLM to promote women led development in rural areas.
The MoU also aims to develop pilots in digital transactions of SHG federations to facilitate smooth digital transactions with faster turnaround times (TAT) for members.
The MoU was signed by Charanjit Singh, Additional Secretary (Rural Livelihoods) of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, on behalf of NRLM, while Dr. Ajay K. Sood, Deputy Managing Director, signed on behalf of NABARD. The signing took place in the presence of Shaji K.V., Chairman, and G.S. Rawat, Deputy Managing Director of NABARD.”
