The eight-day Sahakar Haat 2025, supported by NABARD, concluded on December 19 at the Emporia Complex, Connaught Place, celebrating India’s handicraft heritage and cooperative entrepreneurship.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Krishna Kumar Singh, IAS, Registrar Cooperative Societies, Government of NCT of Delhi, who highlighted new initiatives being undertaken in Delhi in collaboration with NABARD to strengthen the cooperative sector. He congratulated NABARD for organising a dedicated exhibition of cooperative products from across India.
Nabin Kumar Roy, General Manager and Officer-in-Charge, NABARD New Delhi Regional Office, said the event reflected NABARD’s sustained efforts to empower rural artisans, promote GI-based livelihoods and encourage grassroots entrepreneurship. He noted that the exhibition was organised as part of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
