NABARD’s Rajasthan Regional Office celebrated its 44th Foundation Day on July 11, 2025, in Jaipur, under the theme “Fostering Rural Enterprises for Inclusive Growth.” Chief General Manager Dr. Rajiv Siwach highlighted NABARD’s journey since 1982 and its pivotal role in rural transformation through refinance, infrastructure, and policy support.

In 2024–25, NABARD extended financial assistance worth Rs 22,400.35 crore in Rajasthan, including Rs 17,405 crore in refinance to banks.

A key highlight was the MoU signed with Bank of Baroda to enhance rural credit for SHGs, JLGs, FPOs, and FPCs. Two FPOs also received Rs 25 lakh each in rural credit. The event honoured top-performing PACS and DCCBs for excellence and digital adoption during the International Year of Cooperatives.

SLBC Convenor M. Anil emphasized a “credit-plus” approach combining digital tools, skills, and mentorship. NABARD also launched two publications and hosted SHG product exhibitions. Senior cooperative and banking leaders participated in the event.
