The Mysore Merchants Cooperative Bank organised a Pratibha Puraskar ceremony recently to honour over 46 meritorious students who excelled in the SSLC and PUC exams, media reports say.
The event, held at a private hotel, was graced by former University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor and noted scientist Prof. K.S. Rangappa, who encouraged students to pursue careers in engineering, medicine, and science for nation-building.
He emphasized the role of private institutions in recognising talent and motivating youth to overcome setbacks with perseverance.
Sportspersons were also felicitated. Bank President C.V. Somashekar and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
