J.V. Satyanarayana Murthy and Chalasani Raghavendra Rao have been unanimously elected as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of South India’s largest UCB-Visakhapatnam Cooperative Bank (VCB).
VCB, a 110-year-old institution with Rs 400 crore in member contributions and 1.13 lakh members, ranks among India’s top 15 urban cooperative banks. Following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the bank gained Multi-State Cooperative Society status, extending its network across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In the election, only 21 nominations were submitted and with no withdrawals, all candidates were declared elected unopposed on July 25.
The Chairman and Vice-Chairman expressed their gratitude to the directors for electing them unanimously and extended heartfelt thanks to all the members for their unwavering trust.
