The Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank has launched a cutting-edge Cyber Security Operation Center (C-SOC), named Sahakar Suraksha, at its Navi Mumbai headquarters, media reports say.
Built at a cost of Rs 50 crore, the center will offer 24×7 AI-driven monitoring and real-time alerts to co-operative banks affiliated with MSC Bank, free of charge. Staffed by 35 technical experts, it aims to detect emerging cyber threats, assess IT security readiness, and provide strategic cyber guidance.
The facility marks a major step in securing India’s cooperative banking network. MSC Bank also plans to expand its services and offer cybersecurity training to further strengthen sector-wide awareness and resilience.
