Free Press Journal reports Economic Offences Wing has lodged a case against the former branch manager of cooperative society of Tareni of district Morena, MP for swindling Rs 1.28 crore from the farmers’ accounts.
The fraud was committed between 2000 and 2010 and the matter had been pending with the EOW.
The accused forged documents in order to withdraw money from society’s members’ accounts.
