In Madhya Pradesh, license for operating Jan Aushadhi Kendra has been issued to 55 primary level cooperative societies of the state and 24 have already started the operation.
The officials from the Cooperative Department of MP informed that 270 societies have formally submitted the application for opening Jan Aushadhi Kendra to the department.
The opening of Jan Aushadhi Centers in Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies will benefit farmers the most, as they will be able to access affordable medicines close to their homes.
Additionally, with societies becoming self-reliant, it will become easier for farmers to obtain loans and other facilities.
