The mother of Mr Sunil Singh, Chairman of Biscomaun and a high-profile cooperative leader from Bihar- passed away last week. Several cooperators thronged his residence to have the last darshan of the departed soul.
Sunil Singh’s mother Chanda Devi was aged 68 and her last rites were carried out at Dumri ghat in Sonepur as reported by local news papers.
Besides the cooperators such as Ramesh Dubey, Chairman of state cooperative bank and vice-chairman of NAFSCOB, the Chief Minister Mr Nitish Kumar has also expressed grief at her demise.
Lalu Yadav- the RJD leader from whom Sunil draws political clout has also expressed shock. Former Chief Minister and Lalu Yadav’s wife Rabri Devi also joined her husband in expressing grief.
Sunil Singh who was recently touring Europe and posting fabulous photographs from there was in utter shock as efforts to contact him failed.
