Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar inaugurated the NCDC Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 last week.
The pavilion showcases the achievements and contributions of cooperatives supported by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), with nine cooperative societies participating under its banner this year.
During the inauguration, Minister Gurjar expressed his delight, stating, “I am extremely pleased to visit the NCDC stall at IITF 2025.” He visited each of the cooperative stalls, interacting with representatives and reviewing their exhibits.
The Minister praised the role of cooperatives in nation-building, saying that cooperative societies are making remarkable contributions toward strengthening ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
He further acknowledged the significant efforts of NCDC in empowering the cooperative sector, noting, “NCDC is playing an important and active role in strengthening cooperatives and providing farmers, women and youth with modern technology, training, and market access.”
The inauguration marks an important moment in Cooperative Week celebrations, highlighting the cooperative sector’s expanding role in economic development and inclusiveness across the country.
