Kerala’s leading Pride Multi State Credit Cooperative Society held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) last week in the presence of Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Dr. Raj Bhushan Choudhary.
The meeting was also attended by Janardan Singh Sigriwal, Member of Parliament from Maharajganj, Bihar, along with other dignitaries, and drew participation from nearly 2,500 members.
The Society declared a dividend of 4.5% for its members. Presenting the annual report, the management announced that the Society has achieved a business mix of Rs 488 crore in less than four years, backed by a strong member base of more than 1.25 lakh individuals.
Chairman Dr. N. Sairam credited the Society’s growth to the Rs 100 crore working capital loan sanctioned by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) during the year. He further outlined the Society’s vision of becoming a Rs 3,000 crore credit cooperative by 2027.
In FY 2024–25, deposits rose from Rs 173.01 crore to Rs 278.63 crore, while loans and advances nearly doubled from Rs 109.17 crore to Rs 210.65 crore. The Society also posted a net profit of Rs 5.26 crore for the year.
Established in 2013, Pride Multi State Credit Cooperative Society has expanded its footprint across 16 states in India. It operates from its Corporate Office in Kozhikode, Kerala, with its Registered Office in Kolkata, West Bengal.
