MoC reviews Co-op Bank of India’s business plan

Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, chaired a review meeting with senior officers of the Cooperative Bank of India Ltd. (COBI) onTuesday, at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan in New Delhi to assess the bank’s business plan and future strategy.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on COBI’s strategic priorities, operational preparedness, and the roadmap for strengthening cooperative banking services across the country.

Emphasis was placed on improving institutional capacity, expanding outreach, and aligning the bank’s growth plans with the broader objectives of the cooperative sector reforms being pursued by the Government of India.

The meeting was attended by Raman Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, and Kumar Ram Krishna, Director, Ministry of Cooperation, along with other senior officials from the Ministry and COBI.
