P. C. Vanlalruata on March 12 unveiled a new logo for the Cooperation Department Mizoram and released the Mizoram State Cooperative Policy at his office chamber in the Mizoram Secretariat MINECO.

Addressing the gathering, the minister emphasised the importance of close coordination among government departments to strengthen the cooperative sector in the state. Udit Prakash Rai presented a report on the new logo and policy, noting that cooperative societies work across multiple sectors and therefore require strong institutional linkages.

The programme was conducted by John L. T. Sanga. Officials said Mizoram is among the few states in India to adopt a dedicated cooperative policy aimed at promoting the growth and efficiency of cooperative institutions in the state.
