The National Cooperative Development Corporation Regional Office, Guwahati, in collaboration with the Cooperation Department, Government of Mizoram, on Monday organised a workshop on NCDC schemes and funding norms under the Bana Kaih Scheme for District Cooperative Officers (DCOs) and departmental officials.
The workshop, held at the Conference Hall of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS), was chaired by IAS officer Udit Prakash Rai.
During the session, Robert H Touthang delivered detailed presentations on NCDC funding patterns and various cooperative development schemes available under the Bana Kaih initiative.
Officials said the programme aimed to simplify and streamline the loan application process for cooperative societies seeking financial assistance under the state government’s Bana Kaih Scheme, thereby strengthening the cooperative sector in Mizoram.
