The Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank and Common Service Centre (CSC) e-Governance Services India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance digital and rural banking services across the state.

The MoU was signed by Pu A. Lallungmuana, Chief Executive Officer of Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank, and Mohammed Azeez Udin, Principal Consultant, Regional Office, Guwahati, representing CSC.

Under this agreement, CSC will function as a Business Correspondent (BC) for the Apex Bank, enabling customers in remote and rural areas to access a wider range of financial services. The collaboration aims to increase the number of business correspondents and strengthen financial inclusion efforts across Mizoram’s hill districts.

This partnership is expected to play a significant role in expanding the bank’s outreach, providing convenient and affordable banking services to citizens, and promoting the use of digital platforms for financial transactions.
