The Union Ministry of Cooperation has called a meeting today through video conferencing to discuss formulating a scheme for Cooperative Education, training & Awareness with Principals/Directors of Cooperative Training Institutes/Centers.
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Gyanesh Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.
According to informed sources, the new scheme for Cooperative Education, training & Awareness will have a duration of three years and a budget of per year will be Rs 56 crore.
The target beneficiaries of this scheme will be the members, board members and employees of cooperative societies and others, added sources close to the Ministry.
