Anand Kumar Jha, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, chaired a review meeting with representatives of National Cooperative Federations to assess progress on key action points from an earlier session. The focus was to evaluate implementation and synchronize efforts with the Ministry’s goals in media outreach, publications, and publicity.

Discussions revolved around strategies to amplify the visibility of cooperative activities using digital platforms and print media. The importance of showcasing success stories and awareness materials was highlighted to boost engagement across all States and Union Territories.

Federations were instructed to rigorously track and report their progress on targets discussed in previous meetings chaired by the Ministers of State for Cooperation. They are required to submit detailed updates to the Ministry every 15 days to ensure timely assessment and accountability.

This meeting followed up on the 4th June 2025 deliberations and was attended by Kapil Meena, Director in the Ministry, along with senior officials and representatives from NCUI, TRIFED, NCCF, NAFED, NCDFI, NCOL, NCEL, BBSSL, and AMUL.
