Kumar Ramakrishna, Director, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, conducted a comprehensive review of banking-related matters at the Bihar State Cooperative Bank (BSCB) on Friday. The review meeting focused on the functioning of the bank, implementation of various cooperative banking initiatives, and measures to strengthen credit delivery and financial inclusion.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman Ramesh Chandra Chaubey and Managing Director of the Bihar State Cooperative Bank, the Deputy General Manager of NABARD, and senior officers and staff of the bank. Detailed discussions were held on improving operational efficiency, supporting small borrowers, and expanding credit to priority sectors.
During the meeting, SKumar Ramakrishna also distributed loan sanction letters to six small traders under the Atmanirbhar Amrit Loan Scheme, aimed at promoting self-reliance and strengthening small businesses.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely financial support, which is expected to help them expand their business activities.
